This position is responsible for the supervision of inmates. Scheduled work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of Murdoch Center.

Working knowledge of sewing and mending
To operate a commercial sewing machine
To operate serger, hemming, marking and blind stitch machines
To lift, push and pull heavy objects
To work independently and as a member of a team
To communicate effectively with the population served, staff and others
Follow written and oral instructions
To maintain professional work relationships and an even tempered demeanor
To read and interpret requests
To supervise and assign tasks as needed
Must possess a Valid Drivers License
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education and/or experience in a commercial or institutional laundry that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade.
