This position is for a SELinux Engineer in support of the JTRS Enterprise Network Manager program The JENM Program has the requirement to provide multiwaveform mission planning provisioning and monitoring of missions while operating in a secure environment The position requires a strong understanding of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) design and implementation using Linux DAC and SELinux MAC controls Telecommuting is an option for the right candidate Primary Job Functions Perform analysis and design of modular SELinux domains in a RedHat environment operating in strict mode Implement SELinux policies in accordance to approved designs Automate testing and installation of Policies in development and target environments Document and maintain design security procedures and other supporting information related to the proper setup or use of software Work with the IA team in describing the SELinux approach to address security concerns Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field At least 46 years as a fulltime software developer with design and implementation responsibility on software development teams Strong Experience designing strict SELinux Policies within a Red Hat Linux environment Strong Experience in troubleshooting SELinux policies and violations Working knowledge of computer networking including IP Routing Firewalls Multicast IPSec SSL SSH and VPN Experience developing systems according to DODI 85002 STIG and DIACAP requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (must be a US citizen) Defense industry experience strongly preferred Current or recent security clearance preferred SELinux experience and US citizenship required
