Under general supervision the DP Order Processing Associate, is responsible for timely and accurately processing incoming orders, supporting internal customers, and timely, accurately invoicing picked orders and backing up Customer Service as required.
Track incoming orders.
Maintaining excel processing sheet.
Communications with internal customers via phone and email.
Print pick documents and invoices from database system.
Assembling delivery documents (invoices and manifests).
Generating, printing and distributing reports.
Filing in for other DP tasks and positions, as needed.
Filling in for customer service duties/tasks as required (answering phones, inputting orders, helping customers, etc.)
Performs other job related duties as assigned
Duties require knowledge equivalent to completion of four years of high school and six to twelve months of related experience.
Strong office skills, i.e., filing, phone/copier/fax/printer knowledge, etc.
PC experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and M-Group (AS400) Preferred.
Must have excellent attention to detail as information must be accurate..
Must be able to work independently and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment (i.e., taking multiple phone calls and dealing with the Warehouse, etc.).
Must have the ability to work within the established timeframes so that processing is done in time for selecting.
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with our external customer base as well as several internal departments.
Ability to work independently to ensure timely completion of duties and conformance with specified deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team (offering support when it is busy).
Must have excellent communication skills.
