The Litigation Attorney is responsible for handling all litigation and appellate matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the appeals process.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle and assist with all appellate work for the firm, including case assessments, researching and writing briefs, and oral argument to the appellate court
Offer litigation support, assisting with complex pre and post-trial motions
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Member of the state bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements
5-10 years litigation experience, with a concentration in appellate work
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Must possess strong organizational skills .
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
