The ideal candidate must have litigation paralegal experience and enjoy a fast-paced and changing work environment with a solid understanding of complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on products liability litigation, trademark and Internet litigation and business litigation.
Responsibilities include management of litigation case files and documents, reviewing documents and assistance in preparation of legal briefs, cite checking, maintaining databases, preparation for and assistance at depositions and trials. Proficiency in Concordance, Summation, Ringtail, Pacer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw and Federal experience is a plus.
Position requires a minimum of 7 years of Litigation paralegal experience. Knowledge of court procedures and law. This is a highly detailed-orientated position that requires sound judgment and the ability to juggle priorities and handle multiple tasks. Candidate must possess very strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills, be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage workload. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Paralegal degree or Bachelors degree required.
Salary based on experience.
