Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certification required.

2-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a legal department or law firm.

Strong editing and proofing skills

Experience with legal technology as well as performing legal and other research through a variety of platforms a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess: 1) excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, attorneys, and business colleagues on a daily basis; 2) strong organizational and attention to detail skills to handle large volumes of work; and 3) ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

Main Responsibilities/Duties

Conducts legal and other research; compiles, analyzes and summarizes information.

Coordinates efforts between attorneys, business collegues, outside legal counsel and other parties and outside vendors.

Under the supervision of attorneys, prepares drafts of legal and administrative submissions and other documents and memos and communications. Assists attorneys with major filings and submissions.

Organizes all necessary documents for hearings, meetings and commercial transactions;

Locates, reviews and summarizes information applicable to a particular case, transaction or other matter via online research or document reviews.

Assists in the preparation of motions, binders, exhibits, etc.
