he Load Planner Trainee will learn how
to sequence freight shipments on trucks/trailers for final delivery
throughout the United States and Canada. Shipments will be planned on
loads in a manner which enables the Company to meet or exceed
profitability expectations, with complete conforrmance placed on the
planning of guaranteed shipments to deliver as required.
Additionally, the Load Planner Trainee will learn efficient load
planning techniques, required to meet service standards, maximize
load factor, optimize equipment utilization and ensure the highest
levels of customer satisfaction are achieved. Loads are planned in
accordance with all applicable D.O.T. regulations including H.O.S.
regulations, gross vehicle and axle weight limitiations, and
appropriate HAZMAT rules.

knowledge of U.S, but a working geographic knowledge of the United
States is preferred. Must attain thorough knowledge of assigned
planning area. H.S. Diploma or equivalent. PC literate- knowledge of
PC Miler, Word, Excel preferred. Able to perform mathematical

Load Planner Trainees are most
successful if they have a sharp memory and are able to multitask
loads and planning areas. Planner Trainees must possess working
knolwdege of HazMat Sort/Segregation rules and understand axle
scaling requirements. Planning is a function of time & distance
along with a familiarity with specific customers- planners are
expected to gain and retain this knowledge. Load Planning is
