TITLE: Loan Portfolio Specialist LOCATION: Bloomington, MN


PURPOSEThis position requires a deadline driven, detail minded individual who would be responsible for Cash Processing, property inspection coordination and review, financial statement analysis and other detailed tasks/projects supporting the Portfolio Management Department.


• Plan and schedule own workload to most efficiently meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual benchmarks

• Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrower, other servicing staff, third party vendors and regional offices in a friendly and professional manner.

• Cash processing includes, but is not limited to the following duties:

o Daily Cash Receipts, Non-Cash, Disbursements, Payoffs, Miscellaneous Fees, Late Charges, Cash flow and Waterfall Agreements

• Coordinate and provide quality assurance of commercial property inspections conducted by third party vendors and regional offices

o Work with borrowers to resolve any outstanding deferred maintenance

• Normalize annual/quarterly property financial statements and tenant occupancy reports to analyze sufficient cash flow

• Prepare borrower requests for investor review. Analyze and process borrower requests according to lender requirements and company guidelines. Requests may include:

o Review of expense reimbursement requests regarding post-closing deferred maintenance

o Late charge waiver requests

• Order, process and review satisfaction documents for paid in full loans

• Process audit confirmation requests for clients auditors

• Monitor and update monthly loan reports utilized by investor and management to analyze portfolio risk

• Serve on procedure committees, annually updating company guidelines for Portfolio Administration job responsibilities

• Perform other reasonable tasks/projects as assigned

Education: Four Year degree in the finance or accounting area

Work Experience: 1 to 3 years. Background in commercial lending or servicing preferred.

Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:

• Required knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access
