P1 Group, Inc., is accepting applications and resumes between now and February 2013, for individuals interested in the Local 8 Plumber Apprenticeship positions. Experience is not necessary; training will be provided for those accepted into the program.

The Local 8 Plumber Apprenticeship Program is a five-year training program. Individuals accepted into this program will receive classroom training through Local 8 and on-the-job training with a contractor. Trainees will be paid a percentage of the plumber wage rate for their work, with step increases, until graduating from the program. Upon graduation, trainees receive 100% of the wage rate as determined by the bargaining agreement with the local union.
