Responsibilities include selling and servicing products directly to group clients or through broker/consultant relationships. Key duties focused on building and maintaining strong relationships to foster sales growth through existing book of business.
Working fairly independently sells and services products to group clients 2 – 1000 Lives.
Maintains and grows the book of business through aggressive product sales, upsells, and renewals, within assigned territory.
Drives product sales within assigned accounts/ territory.
Positions cross-channel product offerings.
Strategic Account Planning – builds lasting reciprocal relationships with clients through open communications around mutual objectives.
Provides financial consultation to client organization, sound financial decision making for MetLife and client organization.
Provides post-sale service and interaction with clients.
Develops new business opportunities and sales growth by initiating and maintaining strong relationships.
Utilizing marketing materials to attract interest in to potential Group customers and brokers.
Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
2+ years previous experience successfully selling Group Employee Benefits products.
Appropriate licensing required.
Bachelor degree, preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong complex customer service skills
