We are currently looking for a Localization Project Manager who will be responsible for managing numerous localization projects of different sizes and genres for multiple platforms.
The Localization Project Manager will be working with multiple clients simultaneously and will ensure the profitability, quality and delivery of the projects within the timeframes and budgets agreed with the clients.
Requirements
2 years + experience working in a similar position within a multilingual localization vendor with proven track record of managing multiple projects
Strong project management skills, including analytical thinking, strategic planning and customer engagement
Excellent knowledge of industry standard localization tools and processes.
Experience of recruiting and managing freelance translators is desirable.
Team building, collaboration and management experience as well as , adapting to cross-cultural communication challenges
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills
Experience working in the games industry and excellent understanding of the game development lifecycle and process
Excellent level of written and spoken English required. Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the appropriate time flow of localization projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-around time and budget expectations.
Manage client relationships and serve as primary day-to-day contact. Providing timely responses and actions Estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built-in contingencies (including definition of the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project)
Regularly monitor, assess and make independent decisions on work methods and resources to be used while following industry leading quality standards and procedures
Directly select, instruct and manage team resources (including work allocation, performance management, mentoring and training)
Communicate project activities effectively with internal stakeholders and customer
Manage and grow client relationships whilst achieving/exceeding the expected margin and developing new business
