Under general supervision of the Safety and Security Administrator performs skilled work at an advanced level in the trade of locksmith. Performs technical work in the area of electronic locksmithing as well as traditional locksmithing. Must be able to design, manufacture, modify, install, troubleshoot, operate, and repair all alarm systems and electronic or mechanical access control devices and systems that control and/or monitor doors, entrances, including handicapped entrances, and parking gates. Must have the ability to produce interfaces between any of the systems listed above. Must have the skills and knowledge of preventive and applied maintenance techniques. Must have experience or ability to learn and work with ASSA keying system. Maintains electronic and mechanical access control systems throughout Scottsdale Healthcare System. Coordinates with System Specialist Data Coordinator on all duties and work assignments.
Basic Education: High School or GED and valid AZ Drivers License.
Basic Experience 3 years of increasingly responsible experience in the locksmith profession.
Basic Field of Expertise: Work requires knowledge of hardware and electronic and mechanical locking systems normally acquired through 3 years of experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of hardware and electronic and mechanical locking systems.
