Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the AVP, Manager Ecommerce & Strategic Initiatives, the Logistics & Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the strategy and operations to support the property flow throughout the Christie’s Ecommerce platform. These responsibilities include working directly with the property, managing costs and logistics to ensure an effective, efficient and secure supply chain process.

Responsibility Data:
  • Generate, implement and execute strategies to effectively manage forecasting, inventory and supply planning for the e-commerce platform
  • Manage relationships and performance of new and existing vendors
  • Manage warehousing and distribution of our property among various locations
  • Manage relationships with and monitor performance of our logistics and fulfillment partners; oversee development of systems and processes to continually improve performance
  • Collaborate with management team to ensure all aspects of e-commerce are well developed and maintained throughout sale lifecycle to ensure a superior customer experience and a high level of efficiency
  • Advise finance and marketing of variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals
  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure sufficient capacity and redundancy exist at each stage
  • Assess feasibility of building in-house logistics and fulfillment capabilities; lead development of initiatives as selected
  • Perform root-cause analysis and proactively identify and correct all people, process, and behavior related process deficiencies from Christie’s to 3 rd party vendors

Skills & Requirements:
  • MBA highly preferred or Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years of work experience within manufacturing/supply chain
  • 5+ years of e-commerce and supervisory experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills: ability to synthesize complex information into simple, actionable insights and communicate technical requirements
  • High level of leadership skills with a desire to cultivate leadership and performance in direct reports
  • Positive attitude, high energy and an eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup, online platform
  • Commitment to a superior customer experience
