Alion is actively seeking a creative, highly talented individual to support a major Navy platform acquisition program. In this position, you will be the Program's subject matter expert in Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), statistical modeling techniques and Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) development, including interfacing reliability centered maintenance techniques with data produced as a function of statistical modeling processes.
These processes include use of Reliasoft's Blocksim and Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA) software. Incumbent will be responsible for review, comment adjudication, approval, issue and lifecycle support, statistical modeling and the various output of data from these models while providing interpretive support to system, component and platform decision makers both within the program and other associated Navy activities. The candidate will oversee and be responsible for development and maintenance of the Program's RAM assessments and for the development of a Reliability Growth program that includes Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD) among other tenets.
In addition to the above, you will develop presentations and briefing material and archive pertinent program documentation, as directed. You will develop and maintain related Standard Operating Procedures / Instructions / Notices, etc. You will interface with other government and contractor representatives as needed, to ensure program goals and objectives are met. Generate or update documentation as appropriate or requested.
Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Science/ Business or related field plus at least 5-7 years specific experience in DoD / DoN Acquisition support is required, with specific experience in Reliability, Availability and Maintainability, statistical modeling techniques and Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) development. Knowledge of Reliasoft's Blocksim and Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA) software. The ability to interpret and analyze data/output from these models is required.
Experience in development of Reliability Growth programs including Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong computer skills, especially for Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Must be able to generate presentations, schedules, minutes, action item lists and plan documents.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding written and oral skills, with particular experience in technical writing and developing Logistics Planning documents.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET-level Security Clearance.
