Primary Purpose: Data Analysis and Order Creation
Communicate service issues to customer or management
Manually enter shipment order
Enter shipment status information (check calls, loaded calls, unloaded calls, reference number information)
Ability to read, understand, and apply information relating to shipment status, pickup and delivery appointments
Ability to positively respond to and interact with other company personnel, customers, and vendors in daily operations
Demonstrate ownership of assigned segments of business
Responsible for Shipment Planning activities, including data analysis, site scheduling, route generation, mode selection and load consolidation
Maintain customer profile and relevant customer information
Analyze customer data and identify cost saving opportunities
Perform adhoc reporting as needed
Serve as the account’s primary point of contact for helpdesk issues
Cross-trained on other job positions within the account
Assist in all other areas of operations as directed by Supervisor
Only candidates fluent in both Spanish and English will be considered for this position.
Intermediate Computer Operations including basic programming, relational databases and operating systems.
Advanced Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in both English and Spanish. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence ub both English and Spanish. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and/or employees.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or sched-ule form.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, specifically, the ability to prioritize in order to complete assignments effectively.
Intermediate Math Skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, com-missions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of based algebra and geometry.
The ability to affect cost-effective transportation logistics solutions with mode selections, route planning, equip-ment types, government regulations, etc.
Customer Service skills including the ability to recognize the needs of the customer and effectively address those needs through active solution or communication of the need to the appropriate personnel.
