Joss & Main is a highly editorial brand and runs a high volume of photo shoots to support its e-commerce business. We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to help bring the successful execution of our shoots to the next level, increasing throughput, quality, and communications while helping to uphold our brand standards.
The Logistics Coordinator is a critical team member of our photo studio production department and works cross functionally between the photo studio team, buyers, facilities and production team. He/she will play a significant role in ensuring the successful organization of all merchandise that is received for each shoot, from quality checking the samples as they arrive and making sure they are delivered back to the necessary vendors within the appropriate timeline. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual who takes initiative to constantly exceed expectations all the while keeping a positive attitude and vibrant personality who works well in a team environment.
This role has a set rate of $13 per hour, for a full 40/hour work week.
Responsible for full-cycle sample delivery maintenance and logistics including but not limited to:
Accountable for receiving and moving all samples entering and exiting the studio
Responsible for moving furniture and décor items around the office
Unpack all samples and organize for photography shoots, readying item list for styling
Troubleshoots errors when samples received do not correspond to requested items
Works closely with facilities team to coordinate receiving & movement of product
Maintains organization and cleanliness of product studio
Maintains database of product received, product shot, and product
Alerts & works with buyers when product not received in time
Ensures product quality by handling all items with care, taking the necessary precautions for correct packaging, repackaging, and storage
Liaise with Photo Studio Manager to review daily and weekly shipments and timeline
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Able to lift and move packages and items of 25-70 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to multitask and operate independently with familiarity in working in diverse environments
Well-developed problem solving skills
Team player who enjoys working with an array of different personalities and roles
