Cargill Corn Milling North America (CMNA) is a manufacturer of value-added corn, sugar and health based products serving the Food, Feed and Fermentation segments. From facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas, we provide a wide variety of products and services including high fructose corn syrup, corn syrups, dextrose syrups and sucrose that are used in an array of beverage, brewing, confectionery, food and pharmaceutical applications. We provide health and sweetness promoting ingredients for the food and dietary supplement industries worldwide.
We also produce a variety of innovative, dry corn ingredients that are used in cereals, snacks, breads, tortillas and animal feed applications. In addition, we produce fuel-grade ethanol and are a leading supplier of corn oil, acidulants, corn gluten meal and corn gluten feed products.
The Logistics Coordinator works closely with the Logistics Analysts and Managers of the various Corn Milling product lines providing tactical and analytical support. You will be responsible for the monthly publishing of the Corn Milling Logistics Scorecard. Also keeps current various Corn Milling transportation agreements, lease track agreements, and carrier insurance documents.
40% - Provide on-going tactical and analytical support to CMNA Logistics Managers and Analysts
20% - Create and distribute monthly Corn Milling Logistics Scorecard
10% - Oversee the contract management system (Emptoris) to ensure all current contracts are fully executed and up to date. Collaborate with freight auditor to investigate payment discrepancies and contract audits
10% - Provide backup coverage of Logistics Analysts
5% - Work with Facility Logistics Managers to approve and process all lease track agreements.
5% - Ensure CMNA motor carrier insurance documents are current and accurate for all motor carriers
10% - Other duties as assigned
Bachelors Degree OR a minimum of 4 years of Business experience
General Logistics/Transportation knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with various levels of the organization
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Transportation
Experience using AS400 systems
Microsoft Access experience
Skilled in the area of motor carrier compliance requirements, policies and procedures
