Job Description

Position Overview
Responsible for developing the Energy Solutions group global logistics strategy including project management, achievement ofbusiness unit cost and timing targets. In addition, individual hired will be responsible for developing and supporting processes and systems to report and validate compliance to environmental and customs requirements.

Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping. Work with other business units such as legal council to resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues. Analyze all aspects of ESG logistics to determine the most cost effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies. Support business units developing budgets and logistics strategies. Direct logistics providers and ensure program execution to timing and cost objectives. Ensure program compliance to hazardous materials shipping and trade compliance requirements. Review programs for impact of regulations such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Customs and Border Protection Regulations. Develop materials for, and participate in, training on import and export regulations and policies. Assist in the assessment and audit sites for import and export compliance. Assist in determining and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Assist business units and work with other Global Trade Compliance team members and legal counsel to help resolve trade compliance matters.


Specific Skills/Abilities
The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate with senior management and engineering teams, and provide cross business functional assessments.

Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in import and/or export matters 5- 10 years experience in international trade compliance and shipment of hazardous materials 3-5 years management experience desired 15-20% travel required including local, national, and international
