Responsible to the Program/Site Manager for the daily routine of directing all material requirements in support of assigned aircraft. These provisions shall be met as outlined in the NTAW contract, Airforce instructions, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 45, OPNAVINST 4790.2 series, instructions, publications, directives an any associated documents within the field of aviation material/supply program. Will be required to direct and oversee the Tool Room and IMRL Programs. You will perform the duties as Division Quality Manager in regards to overseeing all training required, formal, in-formal and On-the-Job (OJT) on your division personnel. This is to ensure that those personnel are afforded the best possible training to further their responsibilities and advancement/promotion. You will actively and stringently adhere to and support the Collective Bargaining Agreement while attempting to settle any and all grievances at the lowest level ensuring company policy and NTAW contract requirements are maintained. Ensure all personnel under your cognizance understand and comply with the Company Disciplinary Guide. The individual must meet the following prerequisites:
Will ensure complete compliance and support all UTC/SSSI quality policy objectives, goals, and initiatives, while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
1.Individual must possess superior qualities of personal integrity, maturity, judgment and aptitude that facilitates the accomplishment of assigned work functions and cultivation of a quality work environment. Must be able to read and write the English language. Must be capable of effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
2.Must be capable of providing training in your specialty/qualification/certifications to other employees.
3.Be capable of performing off-site related services, when tasked.
4.Be capable of travel as required. Be able to work all shifts to facilitate your division requirements/needs.
5.Be capable of working extended hours, including overtime (if applicable).
6.Be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
7.Ensure compliance with the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Program.
8.Ensure compliance with the Tool Control Program.
9.Be an active and ardent supporter of the Maintenance Management Team (MMT) and Quality Assurance Programs.
10.Maintain ISO-9000 compliance.
11.Maintain records and files for accurate and precise follow-up procedures on requisitions and retrograde.
12.Submit all required reports in a timely and detailed manner.
13.Manage the GFE/AVDLR Programs and ensure the annual wall-to-wall inventory of GFE is performed and reported as required.
14.Be capable of interviewing all prospective employees to ensure their qualifications meet with the contract requirements.
15.Required to operate all terminals and associated standard office equipment.
16.Must ensure the Activity Asset Reports and Support Equipment (SE) reports are in compliance.
17.Ensure all safety and security measures are taken.
18.Ensure the following, programs, as a minimum, are in compliance: IMRL, AIR, NALCOMIS and ALMMS
a.IMRL= Individual Material Readiness List
b.AIR= Aircraft Inventory Records
c.NALCOMIS= Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System
d.ALMMS= Aviation Logistics Material Management System
19.Perform other duties as assigned by mgmt
High School Diploma Shall have eight (8) years base/installation level supply experience within the last twelve (12) years, five (5) years of which must have been in material facilities and stock record control activities. Three (3) tears of the 8 years shall have been in a supervisory capacity. Shall have experience in, and be capable of managing all supply functions. Experience in all categories of the FAR part 45; MILSTRIP and MILSTRAP procedure acquisitions both military and commercial; and all property and supply procedures required by the contract. Must be able to read and write, in English, with clarity and technical accuracy. Must have a valid state operators license and be able to pass government licensing requirements.
