The CECOM LNO is a member of the APS 4 Team located at Camp Carroll Korea which performs Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) and DS level maintenance on the HBCT, Sustainment Support Brigade, Operational Projects, and Sustainment Stocks in storage. The CECOM LNO’s primary function/mission is to support the APS-4 facility Korea in all matters pertaining to CECOM and C4ISR equipment e.g. BFT, MTS, Harris, SINCAGRS, CREW, DVE, VIC-3, AFATDS, etc. This individual be proficient and must possess hand’s on knowledge of all CECOM systems installed on the US Army’s wheeled fleet and tracked vehicle inventory associated with IBCTS, SBCTs, ABCTs/HBCTs. As the CECOM LNO monitors and tracks the maintenance, build, and status of vehicle platforms during all phases of storage, pre-deployment, and draw or issue during readiness exercises and other related events. The CECOM LNO assists in the identification, maintenance, and testing of CECOM systems mounted on vehicle platforms. The incumbent verifies the MTOE vs. System Architecture analysis is accurate to ensure the correct C4ISR systems are installed on vehicle platforms during storage and prior to issue. This individual coordinates and synchronizes C4ISR teams’ dates of arrival and departure from APS to maximize the install team’s work schedule and resources. The CECOM LNO assists in the ordering and oversight of CECOM equipment to ensure sufficient quantities are on site to support APS 4 missions to include but not limited to installation kits, parts, other PM kits (FBCB2, MTS, Harris, and Ext), etc. The C4ISR LNO is the SME for all C4ISR equipment and works closely with the base COMSEC facility to maintain the SKl and all security keys needed to operate the facility. As needed the incumbent functions as the APS-4 frequency manager and requests required frequencies. Incumbent works closely with the APS-4 UIC manager to ensure that CECOM requirements are being met. This individual is responsible for the weekly analysis and creation of reports used by CECOM, the C4ISR SPO, and APS-4 Staff. As the CECOM LNO represents CECOM at APS 4 operations meetings and other staff related activities. The CECOM LNO communicates any concerns or issues related to CECOM that cannot be resolved without C4ISR SPO and/or CECOM to ensure there is not a delay or work stoppage at the APS-4 facility.

Proficient in MS Office products WORD, POWER POINT, EXCEL and ACCESS. Incumbent must possess strong written and verbal communications skills. Individual may be required to take a proficiency test in MS Products and grammar.
