The Unit Manager is responsible for managing the workflow of the department while ensuring that client service levels are met or exceeded and maintained. In addition, the Unit Manager handles daily personnel issues such as scheduling, staffing, performance and disciplinary action when necessary.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 4p-12:30a. Key Responsibilities
Coordinating workflow, ensuring that client standards are consistently met
Developing process improvements to enhance productivity
Provide coaching and development to associates
Responsible for research and handling any escalated items or issues
Ensures compliance with client guidelines and standards
Applying analytical thinking to loss drafts claims processes
Qualifications Required skills/experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
3 years or more in customer service
General knowledge of mortgage servicing, regulatory, and compliance procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Must be knowledgeable of human resource policies and procedures; advanced analytical and written and verbal communication techniques Desired skills/experience
Experience in hazard insurance processing and mortgage servicing
Call center management experience
Servicing systems knowledge
