This position provides business analytics support for the USMI Loss Mitigation Team with the overall goal of keeping responsible homeowners in their homes. This position reports to the Director of Operation Analytics for USMI and works closely with the Loss Mitigation team on the reporting and analysis of business metrics. The Operations Analyst partners with business leaders to provide decision support and drive operational efficiencies. This position also requires working with cross functional teams to improve forecasting visibility, collaboration with IT on automated reporting solutions and fulfillment of other ad-hoc requests as needed.
•Develop and Refine Management Information System to provide timely business critical metrics
•Publish Monthly Executive Dashboards with thoughtful insights and recommendations
•Analyze and Produce monthly results and highlight any potential risks/opportunities
•Improve and Develop Productivity/Resource models. Work with leaders on identifying and implementing productivity improvements.
•Refine and Improve effectiveness of Loss Mitigation Reporting
•Provide increased visibility in to Loss Mitigation activities through improved forecast processes, analysis of monthly results, emerging business/industry trends and pipeline reviews.
•Ad-Hoc Requests as necessary
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
•7+ years business experience including Business Analytics/ Analysis
•SAS Experience or other BI Query/Reporting Capabilities
•Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
•Ability to Analyze Large Amounts of Data and Summarize for Presentation to Senior Leaders
