- Conduct internal and external investigations
- Responsible for following investigative process & maintaining department case files
- Conduct audits in all areas of the business for compliance purposes & as directed
- Review exceptions reports for potential loss as it relates to cash and inventory
- Maintain detailed records of suspicious activity analyze trends and communicate potential risks to the appropriate individuals and/or teams
- Coach & train Operations personnel on loss prevention related programs
- Assist with the execution of loss reduction plans by partnering with all necessary departments within USH to achieve Loss Prevention department goals.
- Partner and/or collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations issues resulting in theft
- Work in co-ordination with Security & law enforcement to ensure adequate investigation process & procedures
- Perform other job assignments as needed & directed Qualifications/Requirements •Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Loss Prevention experience (Specifically in a retail setting, multi-unit venues)
- Willingness to work overtime, and/or on weekends with short notice
- Must be willing to work at the station in Universal City
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program Desired Characteristics •Strong investigative & interviewing skills
- Experience in working with labor unions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking skills & time management
- Ability to effectively communicate across all lines of business, and with all levels of management
- Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change as well as working independently
- A strong passion for delivering the highest quality of guest service
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- WZ or Reid Certification & CFI is a plus
