Responsible for assisting with the training and development of

departmental and applicable training.

  • Reviews all
reports completed by Security officers to ensure accuracy and timely

submission.

  • Reports all observed hotel property
deficiencies and safety hazards.

  • Ensures thorough
and complete investigation for all incidents incurred by guests and

associates (i.e. losses, thefts, accidents). Complete within 48

hours.

  • Maintains surveillance procedures
through-out the property

  • Ensures that all phases
of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted

are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Resort Manger and

Director of Engineering.

  • Monitors all traffic in
the lobby, restaurant, restrooms, parking area, bars, and back of the

house area.

  • Ensures that all hotel service levels
are maintained, and provides assistance when necessary.

  • Acts as the hotel representative when resolving guest
problems and concerns. Ensures that all details of guest situations

are documented and communicated to appropriate department personnel.

  • When necessary is responsible for administering
corrective action with associates.

  • Ensures
follow-up communication and appropriate documentation with necessary

departments to ensure hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards

are resolved.

  • Ensures that all Security equipment
(ie: uniforms, walkie-talkies, Nextel, cameras) are kept in good

working condition

  • Conduct a monthly department
meeting

  • Periodically inspects exterior of
building.

  • Maintains a continual line of
communication with the Resort Manger, Director of Engineering and

Director of Human Resources.

Hotel Specific Essential

Functions:
  • Conduct monthly OSHA Training
  • Conduct a monthly Safety Committee meeting and follow-up on
any issues

  • Handle monthly associate locker
inspections and bag checks

  • Replenish First Aid
Kits throughout the resort

  • Do Moments of Service
Checklists monthly

  • Distribute monthly Hotel
Incident/Accident Log to Resort Manger/GM

  • Conduct
a Semi annual hotel fire drill with the Director of Engineering

  • Fire extinguisher and CPR training classes
  • Ongoing Security department training


Understand all emergency procedures

  • Understand all
radio codes
