Lot Attendant:

Kendall Toyota of Eugene has an two Lot Attendant openings, 1 full time and 1 part time position.
Applicants must be able to work one or both of the following schedules:

1)Friday-Tuesday 10ma-6pm (full time, approximately 40 hrs per week).
2)Sunday 12pm-6pm, Tuesday 10am-7pm, Wednesday 12pm-7pm, Saturday 10am-7pm (Part Time- approximately 26 hrs per week).

Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. Good driving record acceptable for company insurance required.

Moves, cleans and works with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support vehicle sales activities.
Daily assessment of display lots, take appropriate action to display vehicles to Kendall standards.
Park vehicles in assigned areas.
Move and deliver vehicles to sites and locations as required (infrequently out of town).
Wash and dry, vacuum, clean glass and other portions of vehicles.
Jump start, charge battery, and Fuel vehicles as needed.
Apply chemical protecting coating to front of vehicles and windshields.
Monitor tire pressure of vehicles and add air as needed.
Recognize general vehicle repairs or building maintenance which may need to be escalated to a manager.
Prepare sold vehicles for delivery.
Prioritize vehicles that need to be prepped for delivery or washed based on general appearance.
Maintain external appearance and cleanliness of all dealership buildings and lots.
Maintain cleanliness of building interior including: emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, stocking paper products, and cleaning surfaces.
Set up and remove displays and associated material for special events.
Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
This position will have numerous other relevant duties assigned as required.

Work is generally performed outdoors with a limited amount of indoor work. Some indoor work is in a shop environment, and may have exposure to cool or hot conditions, elevated noise levels, fumes and dust. Outdoor work is exposed to ambient heat and cold, sun, rain, snow and other weather conditions.
May spend up to one hour per day working with PCs and video display screens.
Uses general mechanic’s hand tools, pressure washer, and general cleaning and washing tools and equipment.
Standing/walking for short distances: 3/4 to entire work shift on hard surfaces.
Sitting: Less than 1/4 of work shift.
Carrying & Lifting: occasionally up to 20 pounds for up to 400 feet; rarely up to 50 pounds for up to 100 feet.
Pulling: rarely up to 50 pounds force.
Stooping, bending, & Kneeling: occasionally to clean lower portions of vehicles.
Bending & twisting: occasionally to enter or exit vehicles.
Climbing: rarely, ladders to eight feet.
Sight: adequate vision to identify vehicles by color characteristic, and operate vehicles on company lots and public roads safely.
