We currently have a part-time Lot Attendant position available.


Responsible for maintaining the flow of incoming and outgoing cars into designated parking lots and ensuring that the parking lot or garage is clean, safe, and is ready for use at all times.

  • Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction by greeting all guests/patients with a welcoming and farewell smile and good eye contact, and by being courteous and helpful to all guests/patients
  • Maintain traffic control ensuring all traffic lanes are kept clear
  • Direct guests/patients to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or other communication as necessary
  • Ensure that guests/patients park properly and in a safe manner
  • Guide guests/patients in and out of their parking spot, ensuring that no other vehicle or pedestrian is being harmed
  • Assist with directions and information about the local area
  • Patrol parking areas in order to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property theft
  • Escort guests/patients to their vehicles as requested or directed to ensure their safety
  • Perform general area upkeep, such as sweeping and as otherwise directed by management
  • Ensure that parking space usage is maximized
  • Lift, position, and remove barricades in order to open or close parking areas as required by location
  • Ensure that location and/or MPC employees are parking in designated areas
  • Ensure that guests are parking in designated areas, if required by location
  • Report any suspicious or illegal activities to MPC management or location security immediately
  • Follow the direction and instruction of Account Manager, Assistant Manager, DA, or any member of Company management.
  • Ensure that your actions protect the safety and well-being of all employees, guests, and patients
  • Report all incidents immediately to management or the DA in accordance with Company policies
  • Proactively seek hazardous areas and report them to management or the DA

Report all claims to management or DA

  • Sweeping and general area upkeep as directed by management
  • Assist patients/guests with self-automated pay stations
  • Drive cars as needed (location specific)
  • Must have a current valid state driver’s license (in the state in which working)
  • Must have a clean driving record as determined by a background check and DMV record
  • Ability to drive manual (stick shift) and automatic shift vehicles safely
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
  • Ability to complete parking and other forms in legible writing or printing
  • Ability to recognize when there is a problem situation and escalate to management or the DA
  • Must possess the manual dexterity to safely operate motor vehicles in very limited parking areas including:
    • Reaction time: the ability to quickly respond with the hand, finger or foot, to a signal of sound, light, or picture, when it appears
    • Multi-limb coordination – the ability to coordinate two or more limbs (e.g., two legs, two arms, or one leg and one arm) in the performance of duties
    • Response orientation – the ability to choose quickly between two or more movements in response to two or more different signals to include the speed with which the correct response is started
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (6-8 hrs)
  • Ability to endure bending getting in and out of cars frequently throughout assigned working hours
  • Ability to work while standing, walking or running (both short and long distances)
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs or more on a regular basis
  • Ability to run on uneven pavement
  • Ability to assist guests/patients in and out of vehicles or as otherwise needed
  • Must be able to meet DMV vision requirements or wear eye correction as determined by the DMV
  • Depth perception – the ability to judge which of several objects is closer or farther away, or the judge the distance between two objects
  • Distance Vision – the ability to see details at a distance
  • Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints with ease
  • Ability to endure exposure to outside weather conditions, such as heat, cold, wind, etc. while waiting for or assisting guests and patients
