One of our clients in the oil gas industry has an immediate need for a Lotus Notes Administrator This is a 6 month contract located in west Houston RESPONSIBILITIES Managemaintainsupport the Lotus NotesDomino infrastructure Provide Mobility Devise Support (iOS Android BlackBerry) Provide direct support to VIP users where required Maintain strong relationships with the customer support team to ensure that customer problems are handled quickly and efficiently Provide basic to advanced training for customers and technical staff where required Must be willing and able to participate in a 24x7 callout rotation if required Ensure that the systems work within global standards for configuration and operational processes Ensure that the system configuration is accurately documented KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS At least 3 years of solid experience in operation support and service delivery for Lotus Notes and Domino This should have been gained in a large environment and preferably in variety of operating areas to ensure the person has a good rounded operational experience of their given area Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills are essential Experience of some or all of the following product areas is expected Lotus Domino Notes version R8 or above Microsoft 2008 Server Microsoft Windows XPWindows 7Lotus Notes is integrated tightly with the fundamental operation of the thin client environment so a good knowledge of related technologies (networking Microsoft and Citrix systems) would be an advantage
