IT Support - Messaging and Collaboration Systems

Scope of work:
Technologies will include

1) Lotus Notes Client v8.5.x, and v9,

2) Domino Enterprise Server v8.5, v9,

3) IBM SmartCloud Engage (email and social)

Perform daily Lotus Notes administration tasks such user registrations, re-certifications, quota management, creating databases, archives.

Support our Help Desk team troubleshooting general Lotus Notes client issues.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills to support end users.

Working Remedy ticket queues

Required skills/competencies:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Knowledge of Domino Server 8.x, 9.x, Sametime 8.x, Lotus Notes client., IBM SmartCloud Engage,

Preferred Skills:
General knowledge of

  • writing scripts for Domino admin tasks.
  • Blackberry BES 5, BES 10
  • Internet protocols, Proxies,
General knowledge of

  • writing scripts for Domino admin tasks.
  • Blackberry BES 5, BES 10
  • Internet protocols, Proxies,
  • networking OSI layers, Internet protocols (i.e, http, https, ..)
  • deployment patterns (i.e., reverse proxies, firewalls)
  • knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008
Preferred Education:
4 year college degree, equivalent technical study or work experience
