We invite you to join our dynamic team as a Lunch Program Coordinator working at our corporate headquarters in the beautiful new Dominguez Hills Technology Park.
In this position, you will be responsible for Gathering information from various sources in order to estimate food order on a daily/weekly basis including:
Ordering, transporting, organizing and distributing food items to students and staff.
Driving to selected vendor(s) to pick up daily lunch order. Candidate must have a valid CA Driver’s License in good standing and an insured vehicle. On occasion he/she will be required to use his/her personal vehicle for food pickup. (Mileage to be reimbursed).
Checking order for item accuracy before leaving the vendor’s premises.
Unloading and organizing food items by price point.
Personally handling all food sales; which includes daily management and reconciliation of cash box and payroll deductions.
Maintaining an organized accounting of receipts/invoices and the ability to project future sales based on past performance and upcoming events etc.
Communicating in a clear and positive manner with staff, students and vendors.
Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with six months experience working in an office environment; have excellent customer service and relationship building skills. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, customer service driven and who is a team player. (Please note: this is a part-time position).
