s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ invites applications for the Jordan Sterling Lung Transplant Fellowship. The training program is aimed to provide training in all aspects of lung transplantation with goal of meeting UNOS qualification for the trainee. The lung transplant program at St. Joseph†s started in 2007 and the volume has steadily increased with 56 lung transplants performed in 2012. The duration of training will be 1-2 years and maybe flexible depending on the need of the trainee. The trainee will work under the supervision of transplant pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons. Applicants seeking further experience in lung transplantation and interventional pulmonology can also be accommodated. Trainees will be strongly encouraged to participate in clinical research relating to lung transplantation and cystic fibrosis.
