The Twin Lakes Family YMCA is hiring a Part-Time Regular Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Tech will be responsible for tasks including: * Maintenance of the irrigation systems; * Ensuring the grounds are mowed and have a professional appearance; * Replacing light bulbs and assisting with building and repair projects; * Painting, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space; * Assisting with room set-up and break down; * Removing trash from park and sports facilities; * Ensuring cleanliness of park, church and sports restroom facilities; * Ordering supplies, deliveries; * Using equipment and supplies safely and according to guidelines; * Other duties as assigned by the Facility Director/Executive Director.

Skills / Requirements SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as to speak effectively with individuals. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have the ability to solve practical problems. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and show proof of insurability. Must be certified in (or be able to be certified in) CPR/First Aid & Safety, and AED. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 12 months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
