This position is located in the Facilities Maintenance Division, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center , Twentynine Palms, California.
You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, and related fixtures and utilities.
You must be a US Citizen.
Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance.
Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.
Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
You must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Measure, cut, construct, install, repair and modify wood, composite, and wood substitutes to produce frame structures, decking, partitions, etc
- Install, repair and remove concrete placement such as headwalls, retainer walls, pads, sidewalks, stoops, driveways and curbs
- Maintain and repair equipment related to fencing, guardrails, gates, foot bridges, stair treads and overhead doors
- Prepare floor surfaces and applies finishing materials using floor sanders, hand tools, brushes, rollers and other equipment
- Inspect, maintain, repair, alter, and install Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment (HVAC and R)
- Schedule and perform backflow prevention field-testing of backflow prevention devices
