The Manager, Business Unit Training is responsible for providing training program oversight and monitoring of all training at CCA facilities. Oversees compliance with applicable contracts, policies, procedures, regulations and standards related to training activities. Provides guidance, mentoring and coaching to facility Training Managers. Identifies potential training needs, conducts training sessions, and maintains appropriate documentation and learning management system data as required. Develops curricula/training materials as needed.


Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in an acceptable related field is required. Four years of experience in a correctional/detention institution is required. Additional correctional/detention or training experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years. Two years of experience in correctional training (classroom instruction and curriculum development) is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required. Frequent travel is required. A valid driver's license is required. Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.CCA is a Drug Free Workplace & an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.
