Initiates and implements all aspects of the Harvard Medical School process for promotion and reappointment, as well as its various reporting requirements pertaining to faculty. Additionally, this position is responsible for assessment, design and functioning of the department’s faculty development functions.

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent required, Masters’ level education preferred. Minimum 5 to 7 years experience. Proficient working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Recommended in addition: experience in MS Access, complex process management, and academic practice administrative work. Excellent communication skills, clear and compelling writing style, attention to deadlines, critical thinking, and ability to work within a team environment are essential. Ability to evaluate, analyze and synthesize scientific data is a plus. Professional demeanor and ability to work with highly confidential information are fundamental.
