CACI supports the America’s geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) mission and has a constant demand for qualified technical and managerial staff to support the mission of providing timely, relevant and accurate GEOINT in support of U.S. national defense and natural disasters. GEOINT is the exploitation and analysis of imagery and geospatial information that describes, assesses and visually depicts physical features and geographically referenced activities on the Earth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities
Corporate Communications specialist to support a major U.S. intelligence agency focused on Geospatial-Intelligence, specifically the Online GEOINT Services Directorate. Develop and implement internal and external communications. Proactively identify and implement marketing strategies. Based on awareness and understanding of NGA mission and operations tempo, identify and reach out to potential users and user groups. Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages. Tailor messages by target audience. Research, write, edit, and publish communications products (e.g., print, web, electronic, briefings). Provide direction to graphic designers, briefing developers, photographers, illustrators and other required staff. Prepare material for publication and other media both internally and externally. Manage and monitor production schedules. Develop new communication methods to reach target audiences. Support NGA senior leaders by writing speeches, talking points, video scripts, briefings, and other communications products (e.g., emails, articles).

Specific Duties
• Communicator/Technical writer to produce written work on highlighting key accomplishments, topics/issues against current organizational goals and objectives, upcoming goals and challenges, and other factors determined relevant by the OGS leadership.
• Input for monthly progress reports (monthly)
• Written projects/concept plans (as required)
• Briefings, papers (as required)
• Meeting agendas and minutes (as required)
• Trip reports will be required for TDY or meetings attended at IC or DoD agencies in the DC area (as required)
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
E xperience with providing strategic communications support or speechwriting. Knowledge of issues facing NGA, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of NGA, functions, products and technologies. Must demonstrate strong data gathering and analytical skills. Must be proficient with PC computer platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and customer service skills. Plans and leads contract sub tasks/projects.

Background in journalism or English with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment
Strong expertise writing, communications and graphic work.
Excellent journalism and technical writing skills and ability to peer review written products, technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing.
Knowledgeable in NGA vision and strategy along with NGA policies, and practices and NGA Vision-related project within NGA.
Able to independently initiate, manage, execute and report tasks as identified by the government
Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment.
Be knowledgeable and experienced in the areas of writing, organizing and handling of sensitive and complex issues with discretion and good judgment.

Be familiar with current NGA operations and business processes.
Knowledgeable in IC, DoD, and Federal communications processes and the implementation of communications activities in a large IC organization.
Experience writing and reviewing Business Plans, CONOPS, policies and other technical documents.
Experience and ability to interface with different personalities in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels within multiple agencies as well as the ability to work with senior management up to the director level.

Active TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within related field and 11-14 years of experience

Desired Qualifications:

NGA Experience. Masters in journalism with the ability to translate technical details to easy-to-understand language.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 12-15 years of related experience. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and project management skills required.
