This position is responsible for:
Managing and overseeing all advertising, merchandising, promotions/events and analytics / research functions including strategy, development, budgeting, and execution
Serving as the liaison between the bank and the advertising agency of record and is responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening brand awareness and customer loyalty
Consulting and advising management on the marketing implications of various activities
Coordinating with the marketing administration and communication team members
Identifying key business trends and findings unique to the industry
A four year degree in business, finance, or marketing preferred. 10+ years experience in marketing, in lieu of education. Banking experience preferred. Strong analytical skills and understanding of marketing, marketing research methods, and strategy development. Must possess a high level of problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgment decisions. Person needs to be mature, creative, highly motivated, resistant to stress, flexible, decisive and a team player. Certification by the American Marketing Association in marketing is recommended.
