The Marketing Communications Lead combines creativity, product positioning skills, writing, design and project management to develop and implement effective marketing communications and sales tools across all product groups to advance the Runzheimer brand and drive product demand.
This individual will serve as an active liaison to Product Management and Sales in translating key market drivers into effective value propositions for marketing tools, and ensures that product positioning in marketing campaigns reflects current market drivers for maximum demand generation. In addition, this position assists in identifying marketing opportunities for campaign development and provides input into the marketing plan.
Key Functions Include:
Collaborating with Sales, Product Management and Marketing to develop and implement marketing communications collateral and deliverables necessary to drive brand awareness and leads based on effective product positioning and messaging.
Work with Product Management and Clients Services to design and execute Runzheimer's Total Employee Mobility benchmarking survey. This includes survey design, data gathering and analysis and transforming resulting data into actional business intelligence through internal and external communications.
Creating compelling marketing content and strategic messaging that resonates with audiences, including product brochures, white papers, case studies, videos, webinars, sales materials, speaking scripts, tradeshow materials, website pages, e-promotions and production of the Total Employee Mobility Benchmark Report.
Working to elevate the Runzheimer Brand through design and message consistency; participate as key contributor to brand strengthening projects internally and externally.
Creating and managing a complete multi-media library of marketing tools available to internal and external audiences designed to advance sales. Ensure consistency and accuracy, and assist sales in making full use of tools available, including usage of data gathered through the TEM benchmarking process.
Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns to ensure qualified lead generation and recommend improvements to support marketing goals.
Providing direction and production schedules to external vendors as needed, managing content for both internal marketing staff and external vendors.
Incorporating marketing best practices and innovative 2.0 tactics in developing content and identifying new ways for driving sales leads through content marketing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or Communications
Min 5 years of marketing, product marketing, content marketing, or related experience
Strong interpersonal skills, high initiative and creativity
Experience in art/creative direction of writing and production of marketing materials. Experience with design or multimedia creation software a definate plus
Able to drive simultaneous projects through to completion with minimal oversight
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to articulate the business goal of content with compelling copywriting
Experience with survey design, data analysis and marketing data intrepretation
Deadline-driven and able to work both independently and as part of a team
High degree of business acumen
Proficient in Microsoft Office
