University of Missouri Health Care, (UMHC) has launched a national search for a Marketing manager who will be responsible for all marketing across the system which includes University Hospital, Missouri Orthopaedic Institute, Missouri Center for Outpatient Surgery, Missouri Psychiatric Center, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Missouri Rehabilitation Center, Women's and Children's Hospital and over 50 outpatient settings.
UMHC is searching for a dynamic individual with extensive marketing experience, ideally in a health care setting. This position will report to the Director of Planning and will lead a team of six professionals and a budget of close to $1.5M.

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Journalism or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Three to five years' experience in Marketing or a related area is necessary.

The scope of responsibility for this role will include the development and implementation of all strategic marketing initiatives, print, online, TV, and radio advertising, optimizing social media, new physician introductions, branding, consumer surveys, internal awareness campaigns, and tracking and monitoring the effectiveness and ROI on each initiative. This person will also have the responsibility of quickly identifying ways to capitalize on new business opportunities as they arise, and identifying and choosing external agencies and vendors to support UMHC's marketing efforts, and managing and optimizing such relationships. Finally, this person will have the treasured opportunity to partner with University of Missouri's School of Medicine, University Physicians and UMHC's many affiliates to help position it as the # 1 choice for patients and their families, referring hospitals and providers in central Missouri.
