Performs in depth analysis, identify trends, and extract meaningful information to understand Customer traffic and revenue behavior, bookings, marketshare, Customer behaviors and perceptions, and general industry trends.

Demonstrates a sense of ownership by establishing annual goals for a variety of city-based Marketing performance metrics and developing/maintaining annual city marketing plans and objectives.

Serves as the Marketing representative on respective Commercial Regional Planning Team and is responsible for two-way flow of information between Marketing and the Commercial Regional Planning Team.

Actively engages with all Marketing functions, Revenue Management, Network Planning, Financial Planning and Analysis, and other entities regarding observed trends, market performance, and future direction; encompasses post-analysis of actions and forward-looking views.

Provides strategic direction guiding business intelligence efforts, pricing policies, corporate efforts, sale plans, media plans, and advertising messaging to drive regional traffic, revenue, and other goals pertaining to markets within region of responsibility.

Distills complex, detailed issues and data down to easily understood, presentable, and actionable findings and creative solutions.

Responsible for driving analysis on city strategy scenarios.

Is proactive in developing/maintaining critical relationships within Marketing and across all other Commercial functions including Network Planning, Revenue Management, and Financial Planning and Analysis.

Leads sale and new market planning and execution.

Actively engages in department's monitoring efforts of competitive activity at the regional level.

Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with both internal and external Customers.

Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company.

Has strong, professional communication skills and can interact effectively to all levels and internal/external Customers.

May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders.

Minimum Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION (Level, and degree if applicable)

Four year college degree required

Graduate degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of experience utilizing advanced functions in MS Excel (such as pivot tables, look up functions, etc.) required.

1+ year of experience summarizing the results of your analysis into a presentation and presenting the findings to Senior Leadership required.

2+years of experience analyzing revenue, sales, or customer data required.

Experience working at an airline in any of the following departments: Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing Planning, Revenue Analysis, or Financial Planning & Analysis preferred.

Experience with spreadsheets, databases, SQL, and database reporting tools is necessary

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

Must possess strong abilities and interest in analyzing and extracting useful, business related information from large amounts of traffic, revenue, pricing, and schedule data.

Must show willingness to understand database reporting applications.

Must possess strong PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.

Must be able to organize data and effectively communicate analysis in well written memos, charts, graphs, and/or presentations.

Must be comfortable with handling confidential information and presenting/communicating directly to senior management.

Must be able to work well under pressure and perform multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions.

Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
