WHO WILL BE CONSIDERED:
This position is open to all current members of the Oklahoma Air National Guard assigned to the 137th Logistics Readiness Squadron ONLY.
***RELOCATION ALLOWANCES WILL NOT BE PAID DUE TO THE LACK OF FUNDS***
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED:
This is an excepted position that requires active membership in a compatible skill in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and the wear of the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement.
Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
- Must currently be a member of the OKANG/137 LRS only.
- United States Citizenship is required.
- Direct Deposit is mandatory.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The primary purpose of this
position is to carry out the complete warehousing operations relating to
mobility assets to include providing management control, oversight,
coordination, and implementation of the base individual Protective Equipment,
Airborne/Non-Airborne Readiness Spares Packages, War Reserve Material and
Weapons programs and operations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA's):

determine the best qualified applicants from which selection will be made.
1. Knowledge of a wide
range of warehousing and supply principles, concepts and methodologies
involving general supply, storage, distribution, and inventory specialties
to include general knowledge of contracting and transportation practices.
2. Knowledge of established
principles, concepts, and methods of environmental protection relating to
hazardous materials; skill in applying this knowledge to the effective
management and control

MICAS, Base Contracting Automated System (BCAS), etc, to search, analyze,
track and monitor mobility assets.
6. Ability to communicate
in writing to prepare, compile and research information for mobility
assets as well as to communicate orally to conduct briefings, offer
training, and lead group conferences or sessions.
Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
MAXIMUM MILITARY GRADE:
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
successfully completed in a college, university or vocational school may be
substituted for experience at the rate of one year of study (30 semester hours
or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week) for 6 months of experience.
Courses must be directly related to the work of the position.
OFFICIAL copies of
