Serves as a Materials Handler in the Housekeeping Department of the Hale Koa Hotel.

Performs a combination of the following duties:
Moves supplies and material by stacking in assigned locations. Conducts inventories. Recommends reordering when levels of stock become low. Assembles items for shipment or delivery as required. Safely boxes and packs material for shipment or storage.
Receives incoming items from truck or mail. Assists in the unloading of trucks, as required, by using hand trucks, pallets, jacks or dollies (wheeled carts) and moves or stores supplies as necessary. Moves furniture upon request. Verifies and documents receipt of material by checking received items against vendor's documents and government purchase orders or requisition documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must have knowledge of warehouse controls, receipt, issue, movement, tracking and storage of supplies. Applicant must p ossess and maintain the ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds and have k nowledge of basic math and measurement conversion.
Conditions of employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check.
4. Successfully complete all required background checks.
5. Social Security Card must be presented at time of appointment.
6. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
7. Must be able to work various hours of the day and week when required.
