This position is a full-time term appointment not to exceed 2 years. Term appointments may be extended up to 4 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.

You must obtain and maintain a security clearance. DUTIES:
The selectee will serve as a Material Handler providing a full range of warehousing duties and is responsible for handling or overseeing one or more product lines or a segment of a large warehouse. Major duties and responsibilities:
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.
- Coordinate receiving operation, verify quantities received with receiving reports, group items together based on receiving voucher, unload incoming shipments, enter receipt information into automated system, and build pallet loads to facilitate storage.
- Ensure hazardous material is stored properly, provide for the care of supplies in storage, and apply preservation techniques to protect from deterioration or damage.
- Perform a complete range of storage, re-warehousing, and consolidation assignments such as placing, arranging, rotating, marking, and tagging of times on pallets and in bin, bulk, or other storage locations.
- Select and assemble items for issuance/shipment, and assist in accomplishing inventories by counting items and properly completing tally listings.
- Operate fork lift trucks and automated material handling and identification equipment, perform clean-up duties, and maintain records and documents. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Overtime, emergency overtime, and recall are regular requirements of this position.
Work requires frequent standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable position or on hard surfaces.
Work requires lifting and moving heavy items (up to 40 pounds).
Work is performed outdoors, often under adverse weather conditions, and in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lighted.
Selectee may be subject to cuts, scrapes, bruises, falls from ladders, falling material, or injury from equipment.
Selectee may be exposed to dust, dirt, grease, solvents, high noise areas, radiation, toxins, explosives hazards, or chemical fumes.
Must be able to wear personal type protective equipment such as hard hats, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves, masks, and rubber aprons. HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:
