          MISSION

          The Materials Manager is responsible for the Logistics function within the manufacturing facility. Create vision and roadmap; manage people and processes to achieve metric goals for the department. Unusual work hours and travel may be required.

        • Master Scheduler x 1
        • Materials Flow Supervisor x 1
        • Material Planner x 2
        • Headcount: (4) employees

          ACTIVITIES
          • Manage people to achieve performance and developmental goals
          • Optimize inventory levels through MRP system and Kanban systems
          • Manage supplier performance by monitoring supplier delivery, freight costs, and packaging options
          • Manage Shipping operations to ensure Customer Delivery Ratings are met
          • Provide level load build plans
          • Manage warehousing requirements, including external warehousing if required
          • Manage Service operations to achieve Service delivery requirements
          • Maintain the 5-S system
          • Manage Prototype operations to Prototype delivery requirements

          PROFILE
          • Master’s Degree is Logistics/Supply Chain Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
          • 10 to 15 years of experience in Logistics/Scheduling in automotive manufacturing
          • Advanced knowledge and experience implementing Lean Systems in a manufacturing environment
          • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
          • Strong interpersonal skills along with a high level of strategic leadership abilities
          • Strong analytical and advanced problem solving skills using structured methods
          • Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures
          • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
          • Able to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
          • Must successfully complete all required training
