CompassLearning is seeking an MBA intern to support development and execution of strategy for the company’s partnerships and acquisitions.
Scope of work:
Support development and articulation of company’s partnership strategy.
Evaluate new partnership and acquisition opportunities.
Model revenue potential and develop business cases for partnership opportunities.
Manage a prospective partnership engagement.
Support current partnership relationships.
Work with Product Management and Development to define product requirements for partnership integrations.
Prior experience in product management, product marketing, product development, or systems development a plus.
Prior experience in education technology a plus.
Experience with legal contracts a plus.
Strong business sense, with an intelligence for envisioning how new business and product architectures can solve problems and create new opportunities and value.
Ability to develop financial models and business cases to evaluate opportunities.
Strong focus on relationship management, with an ability to read people and situations and successfully negotiate opportunities.
Ability to effectively interface with senior management and functional areas across the company.
Persistence and drive to overcome obstacles and make things work.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
