The Medical Education Coordinator for Pediatrics is responsible for handling all aspects of the six (6) week Pediatric clinical rotations for approximately 200 third year medical students at Boston University's
School of Medicine. Additional responsibilies include scheduling fourth-year Boston University medical students interested in participating in a sub-intern elective on the Pediatric inpatient unit or Pediatric
Intensive Care Unit and providing administrative support for the Director of Pediatric Medical Student Education in Pediarics. In these roles, the Medical Education Coordinator works with pediatricians, pediatric
subspecialists, administrative staff, and hospital staff at Boston Medical Center, Boston University School of Medicine, and outside hospitals and clinics to manage the numerous issues related to teaching Boston
University medical students, visiting medical students, and foreign medical students who participate in clerkships, sub-internships, electives and assorted Pediatric rotations at Boston Medical Center and its affilites.
Bachelors degree (8 plus years of relevant experience may substitute for education)with 3-5 years of experience.
