Performs clinical laboratory testing requiring the exercise of
independent judgment and discretion as per established procedures
that includes: Bacteriology, Blood Banking, Chemistry,
Hematology/Coagulation, Serology, and Urinalysis. Performs phlebotomy
duties as required and is assigned supervisory responsibilities.
One or two years experience, preferably as a generalist with
supervisory responsibilities preferred. Computer experience
p;nb sp; Certification as a
Medical Technologist by ASCP, NCA, or HEW.
knowledge and skills necessary to perform phlebotomy duties for
neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent required. Graduate from an approved
school of medical technology preferred .
