Reporting to the Director of Case Management, the Manager of Case Management provides leadership for the delivery of case management and social services with oversight of Case Management throughput measures, communication with medical staff, patients, and families. Provides support to the management of budgets, quality metrics and their outcomes, and staff development. Operationalizes the environment of care plan and safety goals. Develops a system to evaluate and respond to customer concerns. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the hospital Mission. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Dignity Health Core Values. The employee shall support the overall strategic plans and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

This position Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of utilization management and a minimum two (2) years supervisory and/or lead experience. Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree. (Master's degree preferred) Knowledge of Discharge Planning/Utilization Review activities and functions; demonstrated ability for problem solving, decision making and establishing effective rapport with personnel, patients, families, physicians, colleagues; evidence of effective oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to set priorities and coordination skills; familiarity with CQI methods and Current California RN License
