Reporting to the Director of Operations for Verde Valley Medical Group, the incumbent is responsible for all segments of activity related to Patient Financial Services for VVMG including: revenue cycle management activities; provider credentialing and enrollment with payers; VVMG liaison for payer contract issues; and resolution of escalated patient account issues for all clinic and hospital-based practices. The Patient Financial Services Manager will be the process owner over the VVMG Revenue Cycle Value Stream.
B.A. or B.S. in relevant field or equivalent experience-required.
A. At least five years of experience in health care revenue cycle management with particular emphasis on provider billing and coding, claims process, credentialing, and payer contracting in a multi-specialty environment - required
B. Experience with public and private health care payers and reimbursement systems - required.
C.Demonstrated experience in business process redesign and change management leadership - required
D. Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma -- strongly preferred.
E. Prior experience with operational implementation of practice management software systems - preferred
