InterfaceFLOR is searching for a Training & Instructional Systems Manager in LaGrange, GA.

The responsibility of the Training & Instructional Systems Manager is to design and develop instructional material and courses that support company objectives. Conduct assessments to identify appropriate knowledge and skills required to achieve excellence in specific roles throughout the organization. Implement training programs with the appropriate method of delivery: instructor led, web-based, experiential, and team building solutions. The Training & Instructional Systems Manager is also responsible for cultivating a deeper level of understanding and dedication to Interface’s strategic business goals and aligned departmental visions.

QUALIFICATION:

Candidates must have:

Bachelor’s degree (considerations will be given to a combination of education and work experience)

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong communication skills, verbal and written with all levels of the organization

Demonstrated time management and organization skills

A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of Microsoft Office

Five years’ experience delivering instructionally sound training courses with understanding of style and approach

Certification in Adult learning techniques (i.e. Bob Pike, Achieve Global, …. )

Experience authoring original content in collaboration with subject-matter experts (i.e. Customer Service, management and leadership development)

Demonstrated experience with utilizing effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills.

Experience independently developing entry and advanced level courses for all audiences

Ability to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools

Proven/ Demonstrated successful experience with multimedia, curriculum and course development and able to demonstrate skills in the following:

o Learning theory : Familiarity with the ADDIE process and the study of learning theories as they relate to the systematic design, development, and validation of instructional material.

o Instructional design practices : Study of the principles and techniques used in designing training programs, developing design strategy and models, and applying design methods to the improvement of instructional effectiveness.

o Educational evaluation : Study of the techniques for evaluating the effectiveness of instructional/educational programs, including developing written and performance tests and survey instruments, and determining reliability and validity of evaluation instruments that are SCORM-compliant.

o Instructional product development : Study of the techniques appropriate for developing training materials, including identifying learner characteristics, specifying objectives, applying training strategy, validating training materials, and evaluating training.

Experience designing, creating and evaluating self-paced, web-based, interactive instructional content

Experience developing training in multiple formats including ILT, WBT, eLearning, etc…
