We are currently looking to add Business Analysts to our growing team.
Business Analyst – Must have provider experience (medical insurance/claims background ideal)
Under general direction; supports the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business solutions using information technology based on customer needs. Business support is responsible for issue management and resolution, change management support and validation, and coordination of key account projects and/or activities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, with experience in a minimum of three years of database experience for MMIS in similar in size and scope to this project
Operational business unit familiarity is preferred (e.g. LTC/Waiver, Member & Provider Relations, Claims, Other)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong presentation skills (training and education skills)
Strong customer service skills
Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office Tools)
Demonstrates experience in quality improvement, personal empowerment, diversity, and teamwork
Ability to research, work with business unit Subject Matter Experts, and technical staff to accurately capture and document business and technical requirements for system and business unit process changes
Ability to write, execute, and document business and technical test cases in order to test assigned system changes
Ability to make recommendations to management on project related actions
Ability to interact with all levels of vendor and State staff
Ability to coordinate interaction with State staff and vendor business units to assist in defining, understanding and achieving the client’s goals related to system implementations
Ability to write Change Orders, bulletins, newsletter articles, manuals, and banner pages as needed
